Dumbo Walls: Yuko Shizimu

For DUMBO Walls, Japanese illustrator Yuko Shimizu collaborated with designer Stefan Sagmeister to create corresponding murals where a fierce Octopus and its tentacles form ‘Yes!’ on one side, and a graphic black and white version covers the opposite wall.

Commissioned by the Dumbo Improvement District and Two Trees Management Company in partnership with the Jonathan Levine Gallery and NYCDOT.
