Dumbo Walls: Faith47

Faith47’s recent paintings dig into the mysterious unknown, conveying ways of seeing through physical reality to unveil beauty of abandoned spaces. Faith47 was initially recognized for her numerous artworks crossing economic boundaries throughout South Africa, capturing feeling of disillusionment in political structures and in the human condition in her work.

This wall was on view from August 2012 - July 2019.

Commissioned by the Dumbo Improvement District and Two Trees Management Company in partnership with the Jonathan Levine Gallery and NYCDOT.
