GETTING TO THE ARCHWAY

The Dumbo Archway is a public plaza underneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, Brooklyn. It’s on Water St between Anchorage Place and Adams St.

THE MUSIC!

MIRIAM ELHAJLI. Miriam Elhajli is a folk singer, composer-improviser, and musicologist whose work is influenced by the rich musical traditions of her Venezuelan, Moroccan, and North American heritage. Elhajli currently lives in New York City where she performs and works as a researcher at The Association for Cultural Equity founded by Alan Lomax. Elhajli's sophomore album "The Uncertainty of Signs" was released 2/22/22 on her independent label Numina Records.

THE ART!

KEVIN KELLY. Kevin Kelly was born in upstate New York and graduated from Pratt Institute in 1982. He has been living and working in Brooklyn since 2006. He has shown his work across the United States, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Santa Fe and Westport. Hiswork is in numerous collections including Simon Cowell in Los Angeles. His piece Solar Powered Cell Phone Charger was installed in Brooklyn Bridge Park as part of the 2012 Dumbo Arts Festival. His work is also in numerous public spaces, including the NYU Medical Center. His sculpture has also been featured in films and network TV shows such as The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Duplicity, Arthur, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Remember Me.
