Thea Grant and BAZZ by Thea Grant jewelry collections are a collaboration in design and exploration of artistic form by husband and wife duo Thea Grant and Nicolás Bazzani.
Bazzani, native to Bogotá, Colombia, received a Masters in Product Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Grant, a Brooklyn local, graduated as a sculptor and Classics scholar from Brown University. They met in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2004 and found that a harmonious partnership sprang up immediately.
The Thea Grant collection has long held pace at the forefront of statement-making ‘found-object’ and haute ‘green’ jewelry. BAZZ meanwhile, a delicate, fine metals collection, more subtly exudes an erstwhile ethos. Each brand maintains the core BAZZdeGRANT ideology of re-contextualizing and re-using obsolete objects, curios, lost treasure and un-used caches of accessories found off the beaten track.
Grant and Bazzani bring new life to bygone materials and champion thought-provoking and story-telling designs intended to enhance and highlight the inner elegance and individuality of the wearer.
