#DUMBODROP 2020 premiered on Facebook Live on Friday, October 16, 2020. Watch the video here, along with our "Love Letter to Dumbo" featuring 80+ of your favorite Dumbonians in a touching tribute to our beloved community.

On Saturday, October 17, we hosted our first-ever neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt, and on Sunday, October 18, we welcomed folks to the Dumbo Archway for (distanced) elephant decorating with Creatively Wild Art Studio.

The PS307 Diamonds perform at The Great Dumbo Drop every year PS 307 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
An elementary school focusing on Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math (STEM). PS307 encompasses every child
from Pre-K to Grade 5. students are immersed in STEM studies throughout their day and within all academic subjects.
THE DOCK STREET MIDDLE SCHOOL
A middle school focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, art and Math (STEAM) with a goal to foster curiosity, independence and problem solving in young people so that they are able to adapt to an ever-changing and complex world.
IN 2019, #DUMBODROP HELPED GIVE OUR SCHOOLS THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO HELP OUR KIDDOS SHINE.
With #DumboDrop funds, PS307 & The Dock Street School bought materials for their art and music programs; purchased MakerBot 3D printers and developed curricula around their use; purchased a school-wide license to start a python coding curriculum; got new soccer jerseys, sent students on a field trip to Harvard, where they participated in a panel of STEM Harvard students, toured the Engineering and Applied Math departments, and had fun at a cookout hosted by the Black Man Forum.
In 2019, we raised $40k for our public schools!

All proceeds from the Dumbo Drop support our local Title 1 Schools, PS307 Elementary and The Dock Street Middle School. Together, we are giving our kiddos the resources they need to shine.
