How did Prolific Interactive come to be?

Prolific’s founders, Bobak Emamian and Eric Weber, met on the baseball team at Quinnipiac University. Their partnership on the field quickly transitioned to a business partnership after college. Prolific Interactive was born out of the desire to build an innovative and strategic company that was focused on people solving real problems. Now, seven years later, Prolific Interactive is a strategy-led mobile agency partnering with high-growth lifestyle brands. Based in DUMBO and San Francisco, recent partners have included SoulCycle, American Express, Home Shopping Network, David's Bridal, Alex and Ani, Lilly Pulitzer and Sephora.

How has it evolved alongside digital media trends?

As a company we strive to stay on top of trends and technology, while making sure to distinguish the flavor of the month from what’s here to stay. Taking risks is an integral part of our culture. We don’t fear the unknown. We welcome the challenge.

What advantages does being in DUMBO offer?

Being in DUMBO allows Prolific to be a part of a thriving, innovative, and growing tech community. We are constantly in awe of our talented neighbors and feel fortunate to be in such great company. From events like Digital Dumbo to Live at the Archway, it is impossible not to be inspired the excitement and energy of DUMBO.

What’s your favorite spots in DUMBO?

When we first moved to DUMBO, we began taking our annual team photo in front of the carousel. It has become an annual tradition, watching our team grow in front of that carousel from a handful of us to over 100 people. In the summertime, we also engage in Wednesday team lunches outside in the park. We try and take advantage of the beauty of DUMBO as often as we can!
