New Restaurant: Atrium Dumbo Opens at 15 Main
It's been nearly nine months since Governor was shuttered by Hurricane Sandy. On July 25, 15 Main reopens as Atrium Dumbo, a new Mediterranean restaurant helmed by three Daniel Boulud alums: Provence-born chef Laurent Kalkotour, beverage director Alexander LaPratt (who oversees a 100+ wine list) and front-of-house manager Lesliee Affre.
According to New York Times food writer Florence Fabricant, "Mr. Kalkotour calls on his background for octopus carpaccio with fennel and olives but channels a different southern region for a pork chop garnished with spoon bread, piquillo peppers and bacon jam." Grubstreet, meanwhile, highlights the octopus carpaccio, pork belly with peaches, whiskey-spiked dark chocolate mousse and raspberry & balsamic cocktail.
Dinner entrees range from a $16 Quinoa Tagliatelle to a $34 NY Strip Loin; full dinner menu is here. Call 718-858-1095 for more information.
