Brooklyn Roasting is Knocking Down Walls
As you made your way into the Brooklyn Roasting Company this morning, you may have noticed something was a bit different (what was different could have depended on if this realization was post or pre-coffee). There's a whole wall down! Brooklyn Roasting is expanding their cafe in order to provide the coffee lovers of DUMBO with more space to enjoy the day's brew while lounging at their favorite repurposed coffee bag or table (one of which will feature a roulette wheel).
The newly expanded space will be ready for your enjoyment soon. And look for an expanded menu, as well as opportunities for tastings, lectures and performances. You'll also get to see more of the process of how your coffee beans go "from green to ground" with a better view into the roasting room in the back. They'll also be hosting a BKLYN Designs talk called, "Design Your Home BKLYN-Style"on May 11th from 2-3pm (you can get tix here).
The DUMBO expansion of Brooklyn Roasting Company comes at a time of growth elsewhere throughout the area. Beyond the Jay Street HQ, you can also grab a cup of Brooklyn Roasting at the DUMBO Smorgasburg, on the East River Ferry and coming soon, at their new spot on Flushing Ave outside of the Navy Yard where they're working to add a cafe and second production facility.
