Six Artists: The Last March Hare
“Once upon a time there was a darkroom. And in that darkroom there were photographers. That was our community. It was based on volunteer work and mutual support. As times have changed we have lost our darkroom. The artists have moved to other adventures and this is a show that celebrates a memory and mourns a loss.”
“The March Hare will be much the most interesting, and perhaps as this is May it won’t be raving mad – at least not so mad as it was in March.” – Alice.
Group show with works by Serge Cashman, Shawn Escoffery, Mitchell King, Federico Savini, Lieh Sugai and Ebru Yildiz. Performace by The Queens of Everything, a New York City-based acoustic roots trio inspired by traditional blues and old time country. The band was formed in 2013 by Liz Rabson Schnore (uke, harmonica, guitar), Jennifer Sirey (guitar, percussion) and Arminda Thomas (banjo, banjo uke, guitar), who share lead and backing vocal duties.
