DUMBO Holiday Tree Lighting

Carols, Calypso and Cocoa! Join us to ignite some holiday cheer! The DUMBO Improvement District is thrilled to sponsor the 12th Annual DUMBO Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 4th from 5-7pm in the Pearl Street Triangle.

Free and open to all, this year’s festivities include:

  • TREE LIGHTING. With a beautiful tree generously donated by Adam Parke Trees at Windswept Farm and a countdown led by our very own Alexandria Sica!
  • SANTA CLAUS. All the way from New Jersey the North Pole, with a photobooth from our friends at Brooklyn Central.
  • CALYPSO MUSIC. From Brooklyn-based steel drum band Jah Pan.
  • CAROLS. Performances by the PS307 and Dock Street Middle School choirs.
  • THE NUTCRACKER. Excerpts from DUMBO’s Gelsey Kirkland Dance Academy.
  • HOT COCOA. Donated by Jacques Torres, DUMBO’s own Mr. Chocolate.
  • SWEET TREATS. Donated by our Front Street Starbucks.
  • PROJECTIONS ON THE MANHATTAN BRIDGE. Animated videos reinvent “yule logs” for the digital age.
  • TOY DRIVE. Bring an unwrapped toy for a child ages 0 to 14 for the Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive.
