What’s happening at the Pearl Street Triangle?

Not just another coat of green paint this year! Starting today, artist David Ellis is painting the Pearl Street Triangle in layers. The mural will be completed next week (weather permitting), and each day of the installation, the work will go through a new transformation as Ellis improvises and paints new layers of design onto the surface of the Triangle. David’s work is made possible by Two Trees Management Company through the NYC DOT Urban Art Program in partnership with the DUMBO Improvement District.

All are welcome to visit the site during the painting period. When the painting is complete, the multi- layered mural will be sealed to provide for continued enjoyment. The Triangle will then be reopened to the public, and resume its role as a gathering place at the heart of the DUMBO community.

Come out to the Pearl Street Triangle and watch the progress or hit up your favorite neighbor at 68 Jay for a birds’ eye view.
