Here’s Your Shot to join DUMBO’s New Media Hub
Got a story to tell in pixels, plastic or print? Here’s your shot to become a member of a new hub dedicated to “defining and championing the future of digital storytelling.”
Slated to open this October, the Made in NY Media Center is now accepting applications from creatives to set up shop in its 20,000 sf of incubator and co-working space located in the ground-floor of 20 Jay. The site offers four levels of membership on a monthly or annual basis; prices start at $150 per month for community workspace and $450 per month for incubator space.
The Made in NY Media Center is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment and run by the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation and General Assembly. With an emphasis on transmedia, the hub aims to bring together storytellers from multiple disciplines, industries and platforms to create, collaborate, connect and incubate across a spectrum of programs, events and experiences.
