TunnelVision Dance Party is Back in the Archway 4/18!

The DUMBO Improvement District, in partnership with BBOX Radio, is thrilled to announce the re-launch of TunnelVision:DUMBO, a seasonal series of curated, community-centric dance events taking place in the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge. The inaugural event was held on Saturday, August 16 and this year’s series will kick off on Saturday, April 18th. It will feature a lineup of DJs spinning everything from world beat to soul to house music, plus public art and family-friendly activities. The event is free and open to all.

“Our mission is to inspire creativity and build community using great music, dance and art in a monumental public space,” says the TunnelVision team. “We’re putting a 21st century spin on the traditional Brooklyn block party.”

“The Archway is a great Saturday afternoon destination for local residents, families and New Yorkers of all stripes who want to groove under the Manhattan Bridge,” said Alexandria Sica, Executive Director of the DUMBO BID.

About Tunnel Vision :
Tunnel Vision was founded by William Ellis, Asen James and Spencer Blake, Brooklyn-based DJs and curators with more than two decades of experience producing cultural experiences in New York City. The event’s is master of ceremonies is Sahr Ngaujah who played the starring role in the Broadway play Fela.
