Thursday Night Screens: Movies With a View Start 7/11

A July 11 screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off kicks off the 14th season of Syfy Movies With a View in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The theme this year is “With Love From…”, showcasing movies that pay cinematic tribute to a place, from 8 Mile’s desperate inner-city Detroit or Willy Wonka’s sweet and sinister Chocolate Factory. A film screens every Thursday night through August 29 on the Harbor View Lawn in Brooklyn Bridge Park. DJs hit the stage at 6pm and movies begin at sundown. Grab a blanket and some picnic goodies from your favorite DUMBO eatery and settle in for a cinematic night under the stars.
