The Really, Really Big Egg Hunt
Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned scavenger hunt? And by old fashioned, I mean this egg hunt is anything but. In short, The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is the world’s biggest egg hunt, raising money for charities and good causes across the globe.
Launched in London in 2012, The Big Egg Hunt enchanted the capital city for six thrilling weeks. Fast forward two years and New York City is playing host to the world’s biggest egg hunt from April 1 to April 26th, 2014. Over 260 egg sculptures, each individually created by the world’s leading artists and designers, have been displayed across the city for three exhilarating weeks. All you have to do is download the app and get started.
Supported by Fabergé, the event is 100% charitable, raising money for children in New York City through Studio in a School, and conservation efforts through Elephant Family, saving the endangered Asian elephant and its habitat.
And what do you know? Some of the eggs have been found in our very own backyard, Brooklyn Bridge Park. We have found some of the eggs, have you?
