Race 13.1 Miles Along Brooklyn’s Waterfront

Ready, set, green! The Brooklyn Greenway Half is a great reason to shed a little sweat! With a 13.1 mile course along the Brooklyn waterfront, this race supports the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, an organization working to build a landscaped route, physically separated from traffic with separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists, that will stretch 14 miles from Greenpoint to Bay Ridge.

The race course starts and finishes in Williamsburg and hits key Brooklyn sites as it winds its way through Vinegar Hill, past the Brooklyn Navy Yard, along the historic streets and under the bridges of DUMBO, and along the length of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The race kicks off at 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning, October 20. Cost of registration is $35 (but you can save $10 when you become a Brooklyn Greenway Initiative member!). To register, click here.
