Gramercy Park Flower Shop Goes Blue for Autism Awareness

That blue glow emanating from Gramercy Park Flower Shop’s storefront window on April 2 isn’t just for aesthetics — the store is participating in the “Light It Up Blue” to support Autism Awareness Day. This global campaign is sponsored by Autism Speaks, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research on the causes, prevention, treatment and cure for Autism.

From April 2-14, the pros at Gramercy Park Flower Shop are creating some special designs with blue-hued blooms (think hydrangeas, irises, hyacinths, etc.), with 10% of each purchase going to support Autism Speaks. Visit the online Quick Shop to view all available arrangements — because the only thing better than buying fresh flowers is buying fresh flowers for a good cause.
