This month, our top pick is the BAC Gallery (111 Front Street #228) Artist Talk. In conjunction with Rub Me the Wrong Way, hear from three artists whose work is heavily rooted in architecture, Adam Brent, Kristen Nelson and Traci Talasco, present and discuss their work.

Plus, a few special highlights:

  • New York Festival of Light – Stop by the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge to scope opening night of this free, three-day extravaganza of projection mapping, laser, light sculptures and more!
  • ADC Walk DUMBO – An open house and studio crawl spotlighting the work and culture of some of DUMBO’s most creative agencies.

All First Thursday events are open to the public and free. Galleries and shops stay open late, making DUMBO a great after-work destination for art-seekers. Local bars and restaurants also get in on the action: check out neighborhood happy hour specials here.
