DUMBO Hosts Electric Summer Block Party with Queen Andrea!
Street artist Andrea Von Bujdoss, aka Queen Andrea, celebrates her new solo exhibition at AHA Fine Art (111 Front Street) with a free summer block party under the Archway on Friday, August 2 from 6-9pm. An NYC native renowned for her bright and bold style, Queen Andrea’s work dates back to her youth growing up in a vibrant 1980s SoHo. Earning her BFA from Parson’s, she later went on to become one of the foremost innovators of graffiti and typography and is credited with introducing the bubble letter style to street art. Her work is vibrant, splicing together many shades of neon colors into cohesive designs.
Free and open to the public, the August 2 block party will feature with music, dancing and a live art demos by Queen Andrea for kids and adults.
