Colorful Murals Cover Paint Shed in Brooklyn Bridge Park

DUMBO, no stranger to public art as of late, now boasts a new series of street art murals in Brooklyn Bridge Park under the Manhattan Bridge. As part of the upcoming DUMBO Arts Festival, local gallery Mighty Tanaka commissioned JMR, Skewville, Chris/Robots Will Kill and gilf! to takeover a NYC DOT paint shed located at the intersection of Adams and Plymouth. This work falls in line with other murals that have sprung up in the community as part of DUMBO Walls, a public art initiative of the DUMBO Improvement District, Two Trees Management Company and NYC DOT. A closer look at the piece will be available during the festival, but for now feel free to adventure on down!  And bring your pooch — the murals are near the Brooklyn Bridge Park dog run.
