Brooklyn Tech Triangle Launches Tech U April 21-27

Brooklyn Tech Triangle members DUMBO Improvement District, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Brooklyn Navy Yard have teamed up to launch Tech U from April 21-27. This weeklong series of events aims to connect local tech/creative firms to the 50,000+ college students in Downtown Brooklyn.

Tech U kicks off with a Tech All-Stars Panel on April 23 featuring DUMBO leaders Chad Dickerson (CEO, Etsy) and Aaron Shapiro (CEO, Huge) along with Alexis Ohanian (Co-founder, Reddit) and Bre Pettis, (CEO, MakerBot). Additional events include flash networking, open office tours, a mentorship hackathon and student career sessions. A big shout-out to participating DUMBO shops Red Antler, Digital DUMBO, BioLite, TENDIGI, General Assembly, NYU Poly DUMBO Incubator and reBar.
